The American Evaluation Association’s Evaluation 2025 Conference is taking place at the Kansas City Convention Center. We hope you join us November 10 – 15, 2025 in Kansas City, MO. The theme will be Engaging Community: Sharing Leadership. Shared leadership approaches create an environment where communities can grow, learn, and innovate to improve outcomes.

The Canadian Evaluation Society is holding a virtual 2025 conference in May 2025, with the theme being Doing Good (In) Evaluation: the Basics and Beyond.
The call for proposals is now open, closing on 2 December 2025. The 2025 National Conference is an opportunity to come together to renew, where ideas will flow and contribute to collective progress (confluence). Together, let's challenge old ways of thinking, introduce innovative evaluation techniques, and practice effective allyship while adhering to CES Competencies and Ethical Guidance.

The 8th CREA Conference is happening in Chicago at the beginning of April 2025.
“The glue that holds CREA together comes from our community [and] our community comes from our shared values and commitments.” Hall (2023) This CREA conference highlights how our commitments to various forms of relationships ground the extent to which we are culturally responsive in our work. CREA’s mission continues to be influenced by attention to culture in the United States and around the world. In this Call for Proposals, we encourage contributions from culturally responsive researchers and practitioners across global contexts. |

The IDEAS 2025 Conference will be in Rome, Italy in March 2025.
The IDEAS 2025 Conference jointly organized with NDB/IEO, titled “Multi-dimensional Evaluation for Influence and Transformation”, aims to foster multi-stakeholder dialogues on enhancing the role of evaluation in driving transformational change through collaborative thinking and promote evaluation practices that are both influential and transformative. |

The Aotearoa New Zealand Evaluation Association (ANZEA) Conference is happening in Auckland on 4-7 November 2024. “Evaluation is a form of knowledge generation, and also a way to share and honour knowledge. We also know that knowledge is power, and in that capacity, has a critical role in building and enhancing mana (status); the mana of people, of places, and also our profession.”

October 2024 |
Amplifying and Empowering Voices in Evaluation AEA looks forward to Evaluation 2024, taking place October 21-26, 2024, in Portland, Oregon, USA. The Conference promotional material reads, “The lack of engagement of new and emerging perspectives in the evaluation field threatens diversity, sustainability, and the evolution of evaluation. At Evaluation 2024, we want to uplift these voices and encourage evaluators at all stages in their careers to bring forth new ideas, practices, and creative approaches to evaluation.

The 15 European Evaluation Biennial Conference – ‘Better Together: Collaborative thought and action for better evaluation’ is being held 23-27 September 2024, in Rimini, Italy. The Conference promotional material reads, “The world is in a state of polycrisis, facing urgent challenges like environmental degradation, social injustice, and economic instability. These complex issues require new approaches beyond siloed, linear thinking. Collaboration across disciplines, sectors, and perspectives is essential to develop innovative, inclusive solutions.”

September 2024 |
The 2024 Australian Evaluation Society Conference (AES) is on 16-20 September in Melbourne, Australia. The conference theme is Wayfinding: “Wayfinding is an ancient process for navigating unfamiliar territory towards an intended destination. It encompasses physical and mental processes, tools and strategies we can use to identify cues, interpret our surroundings and navigate through complex spaces.”

May 2024 |
The Canadian Evaluation Society 2024 Conference is being held in Fredericton, New Brunswick May 5-8. The deadline for submitting proposals was December 4, 2023.
EvalIndigenous members are invited to attend an Indigenous Evaluation Gathering in Fredericton. This will begin in the evening of Saturday May 4 with a welcome to country, followed by a day of sharing and storytelling on Sunday May 5. After the conference, on Thursday afternoon, May 7 we will reconvene to plan a way forward and make a statement about our time in Fredericton. A survey will go out soon to ask about who intends to attend. |

The 11th AfrEA Conference is being held in Kigali, Rwanda, from 18-22 March 2024.
We met with the AfrEA President, members of the Board and Conference organisers to discuss the involvement of EvalIndigenous members. The call for Abstracts is out and we encourage members to submit. We are assessing our ability to contribute funding to people’s whose EvalIndigenous specific abstracts are accepted. There are . |

The 2024 EvalPartners IV Global Evaluation Forum (GEF) is scheduled for the last week of February 2024 in Rabat, Morocco. The concept note for the GEF is available. “In full alignment with the EvalPartners Strategic Plan 2023-2030 and EvalAgenda 2030, the Forum will be held under the theme, “Leading progressive and contemporary evaluation practice”, which aligns with the Strategic Plan vision and mission.”
