EvalIndigenous was formed in 2017 as one of the five networks of EvalPartners, a global movement to support the evaluation discipline to become a core instrument for social, economic and environmental transformation. Our focus, framed within the United Nations Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (2007), is to ensure that evaluation policies and practices uphold the sovereign rights of Indigenous peoples.

The mission of EvalIndigenous is to ensure that global and national evaluation systems and policies recognise and support Indigenous aspirations and facilitate increased understanding of, support for the implementation of culturally responsive Indigenous evaluation practices.
EvalIndigenous members are Indigenous evaluators and non-Indigenous evaluators from around the world who work in Indigenous contexts. |
